The Wednesday, April 6th Breakfast Forum of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce will feature a talk by Charlie Baker, President, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care on the important topic of Health Care. Charlie Baker is president and CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Inc. Before coming to Harvard Pilgrim in May 1999, he was president and CEO of Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Prior to joining Harvard Vanguard, Baker spent eight years in Massachusetts state government, where he served as Secretary of Administration and Finance and Secretary of Health and Human Services during the Weld and Cellucci administrations. His focus was reforming the Massachusetts Medicaid program and overseeing a major overhaul of the Commonwealth's regulatory and purchasing functions.

Stroller Strides is a total fitness program for new moms and their babies. The classes are comprised of a warm-up and a 50-minute power walk, with stops for body toning using the stroller, the outdoors and exercise tubing. Stroller Strides makes it part of their business to support new moms through parenting experience via playgroups, discussions and a variety of activities for both mom and baby. Classes will run M,W,F at 8:30. First Class is always free. Various membership packages can be purchased online or after class.

This is a business meeting of the Saugus Historical Society, but the general public is welcome. We'll be discussing painting contractors as well as updates on repair work at 30 Main Street and the upcoming Strawberry Festival.
