Both the Saugus Rotary Club site and the Friends of Breakheart Reservation site have received numerous recent updates.

With the return of the warmer weather we've brought the Yard Sales Calendar back to the sidebar. As always, yard sales for Saugus and all the nearby communities can be freely posted.

Saugus gathered together today to honor Cpl. Scott Procopio. The procession began on Hurd Avenue after a funeral service at Veterans Memorial School and went down Central Street to Saugus Center and then up Winter Street to the Riverside Cemetery.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Cpl. Scott J. Procopio who was killed in action in Iraq on April 2^nd; his wake is today and his funeral is tomorrow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Cpl. Scott J. Procopio Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Saugusbank, P.O. Box 988, Saugus, MA 01906.
