Come join your friends and neighbors at the official start of the holiday season in Saugus! There will be caroling and the lighting of the town holiday tree followe by the arrival of Santa. It's guaranteed to put you in the spirit of the season!

Saugus American Legion Post 210 is holding their 1st annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday December 4th at the post home, 44 Taylor Street Saugus, from 8:30 till 4:30. Breakfast and lunch will be available. The post will be offering free pictures with Santa, face painting and other activities for children. There will also be craft and gift vendors set up to assist you with your holiday shopping and decorating needs. In addition we will be collecting donations of gifts to be shipped to our troops who serve in harms way. For an acceptable list of donations please email: POST210@HOTMAIL.COM. SUPPORT US TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. We will also be featuring a huge raffle of holiday gift items and gift certificates. Come celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" at the Lynnhurst Elementary School Holiday Stroll and Craft Fair. There will be crafts, kid's craft table, food, kettle corn, cotton candy, raffles, a book fair, and a professional photographer on hand taking photos with Rudolph and his friends from the Island of misfit toys. Don't miss this fun-filled event!

Drop in for some free cake and a beverage and see our current exhibit on aviation.

Cliftondale Square will be turned into a holiday village on Saturday, December 4th from noon until 4 PM. There will be fun, games, caroling, raffles, special promotions by area merchants, food for sale, arts and crafts (including tables from town schools), gift certificates will be available for purchase from town merchants and of course free photos with Santa for all. The afternoon will end with the ringing of church bells and Santa will then light the Clftondale holiday tree. Come join us for this exciting new version of a traditional town event!

The Saugus Housing Authority Meeting will be at 6:00 PM in the Heritage Heights Conference Room.
