AN INVITATION TO KEEP JESUS IN CHRISTMAS To 'Keep Jesus in Christmas', you are all invited to a Wednesday thirty-minute Advent Chapel at 85 Chestnut Street in Saugus, MA. This Wednesday Chapel has been an on-going tradition of East Saugus UMC for many years. This year, the Chapel is held on the following dates: Dec 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd. The reflection is led by Church Certified Lay Speakers and the Rev. Nizzi Digan serves as liturgist. This Chapel has been proven to help the participants to focus on Christ amidst the busy holiday season. Advent and Christmas songs are sung ten minutes before Chapel. The topics this year are The Songs of Christmas: Dec 1 Mary's Song- speaker: Jennifer Rajala Dec 8 Zechariah's Song- speaker: Richie Salvo Dec 15 John the Baptist's Song- speaker: Bill Stewart Dec 22 Angels' Song/Simeon's Song-speaker Sue Streeter

Saugus Military Families The “Saugus Military Families” will hold its monthly meeting, Thursday December 2nd, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Cpl. Scott J. Procopio American Legion Post 210, located at 44 Taylor Street. “Saugus Military Families” is a group that supports our troops by sending personalized packages to our troops and providing support to their families here at home. Join us fireside for hot cocoa and a family friendly flick in the Hunting Lodge Style Visitor Center. Dress the kids in their PJs and spread out a cozy blanket for a free and G rated night out.
