The Saugus Area Entertainment, Recreation, & Sports Resources page was updated today.

Today is the last day to vote for the Saugus Iron Works to be on the back of a quarter.

Lately we've been working on a few minor infrastructure improvements behind the scenes. If you notice some performance improvements, that's why. (We've also been working on some bigger changes, but they're still a little ways away from completion.)

The Saugus Area Government Information page was updated today.

The Saugus High School Alumni site was further updated today.

Multiple people have written in today pointing out the fact that the Saugus Iron Works is one of the sites being considered for a new design for the back of a quarter; an online vote will help decide. More details are available.

The office will be closed today for the holiday. However, the Community Events Calendar and other like pages will continue to be updated.

Outside of Saugus, Saugus.net tends to be mostly known for a few different things: our annual Ghost Story Contest, our Computer Reference materials, and also (believe it or not) high-end dynamic Web applications. Usually dynamic Web applications end up being intranet or extranet only and have fairly limited audiences, and we don't mention them here. We thought though that this being Friday the 13^th we'd share an unusual one that we're working on now with you that we hope you'll find interesting: Antichrist Watch. It's still fairly early on in its development, so don't expect it to be fully polished and full-featured yet.

The Board of Selectmen will meet on March 31, 2009 at 7:30 PM. Anyone interested in submitting an article for the Annual Town Meeting Warrant may submit them to the Saugus Board of Selectmen.

It's been brought to our attention that lately there have been a lot of spam e-mail messages apparently from either Saugus.net or ShellTown. While it's obvious to some, we'd like to publicly clarify that these messages have forged headers and are not in fact from us.
