This is just a reminder that all Saugus-Area public transportation will be affected by the Democratic National Convention; in particular, many normal schedules are changing.

Even though the weather forecast is predicting scattered rain this weekend, it's surprising that there are currently no yard sales listed anywhere. Remember, getting your yard sale listed is completely free; you don't need to be in a high-traffic neighborhood for people to find your yard sale online.

The Saugus Square One Mall asked us to post the following about an event that's a big annual fundraiser for many local non-profit organizations:

It's never too soon to get into the holiday spirit! Plans are underway for the 10^th Annual Evening of Giving event at Square One Mall, to be held on Sunday, November 21^st. An Evening of Giving is a private night of shopping, discounts, and entertainment for the whole family. Participating charities raise money simply by selling tickets to the event. Organizations retain a portion of the proceeds of each ticket sold, and the other portion benefits the Simon Youth Foundation. While it's already been announced at the center, this is a reminder that there will be no computer courses at the Saugus Senior Center this week due to the holiday and lots of students being on vacation.

The office will be closed today for the holiday. However, the Community Events Calendar and other like pages will continue to be updated.
