The Sisterhood of Congregation Ahavas Sholom, 343 Central Street, is having a FLEA MARKET on Sunday, June 8, Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10 from 10:00 am. to 4:00 pm. Entrance in the rear of the building.

The annual Saugus Town Meeting continues.

The Saugus Historical Society Board Meeting will be at 7:00 PM at 30 Main Street. Board members and officers welcome the general membership to attend.

The annual Congregation Meeting will be held at Congregation Ahavas Sholom, 343 Central Street, on June 13, at 7:00 p.m. Services will be held immediately following the meeting.

The Annual Saugus Town Meeting continues...

Join us for our Annual Meeting and Dinner at the Hilltop Restaurant and Steakhouse on Route 1 in Saugus. Social hour begins at 6:00 PM and dinner will be served at approximately 7:00. Dinner selection choices are: sirloin steak, baked stuffed chicken breast, or baked scrod. In addition to the annual business meeting and election of officers, the Program will include a short presentation by Joan LeBlanc, Executive Director of the Saugus River Watershed Council.

Sisterhood, Congregation Ahavas Sholom will hold their annual STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL at their last meeting of the season in the vestry at 343 Central Street, at 1:00 p.m.

In addition to the strawberry shortcake, there will be hot dogs, craft tables, flea market tables, a plant table, and a bric-a-brac table. The Society will have booklets, maps, magnets, note paper, and T-shirts for sale. New this year will be programs of stories and song under the apple tree in our back yard at 30 Main Street. This is being presented by the Saugus Library. So bring your children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren! Younger children from 10:30 - 11:45 and older children from 1:00 - 1:45. Parents can view exhibits inside the house while the children are outside. If you haven't seen the 10 footer in our back yard, this will give you a good opportunity.

This 6.2 mile (10K) WALK starts at Salem Willows Park, and is a day filled with memories, music, hope and fun. Join Bike to the Sea for a ride of the Minuteman Trail in Arlington. The ride will be at you own pace and will be between 10 - 16 miles depending upon how far you would like to go. Meet near the intersection of Route 60 and Mass Avenue at the parking lot between the trail and Mass Avenue.
