Starting today, the Saugus Curbside Recycling Program is expanding to be weekly, so it no longer matters if you're in a blue or green section. We'll be keeping the blue and green divisions on the calendar for the moment, but we'll be changing that soon too unless someone gives us a really good reason to do otherwise.

We've made it possible to browse Saugus.net's Gopherspace via the Web even if you don't have a Gopher client. Remember, if you're using a browser like Firefox you can go directly to the real Saugus Gopher.

More free books were added to the Newton's Library collection today. Remember you'll need a Newton book viewer to read them.

The dictionary of Saugus terms was updated today. For the moment, this resource is still only available via dict or Gopher, so you'll need a dict client or Gopher client to read it. If you're using Firefox, it has Gopher support built-in, but there's also a really nice free plug-in to improve your Firefox Gopher experience called Overbite. It was just recently released and it may make your Gopherspace browsing more pleasant.

Downloads of the updated Newton Book Reader Firefox Extension have been brisk in the few days it has been available, and no problems have been reported with it yet. If you're interested in reading free e-books online, why not try it out?

Newton's Library had the rest of the original Tom Swift series (at least all the ones we're legally allowed to include) added to its collection this weekend. Robert's Rules of Order was also added. They can all be read using the free Newton Book Reader Mozilla Extension, which was also updated over the weekend.
