Saturday, March 27thLocation: Town Hall Type: Benefit Price per Person: free Description: Inspired by twelve little men who took Saugus, Massachusetts on a ride for the ages, a group of people have taken the initiative to honor this gallant team. With only one full size baseball diamond in Saugus, a committee has been formed to reconstruct the Belmonte Middle School field. The committee is dedicated to creating a state of the art baseball facility by using artificial turf, fencing in the field, and installing lights. Other upgrades will be cement dugouts, a scoreboard, and a snack bar. This undertaking will be great, but the reward will be even greater. Please join us March 27th at the town hall to raise money for this exciting event. Donated items (gift certificates, electronics, etc.) will be raffled off and an auction will be held for larger items (Patriot tickets, autographed memorabilia, etc.). Refreshments will also be served.
