Laura Eisener, Massachusetts editor of People Places and Plants Magazine will give suggestions on how to use trees to enhance your landscape. Do you need some shade or screening in your garden? Summer color or sculptural winter forms? What kind of maintenance will your new tree need? Come with your questions and get some ideas to improve your landscape! The Tree Committee, with the help of other volunteers, maintains the tree farm near Saugus Center where saplings are raised to become public trees. A tree from the Saugus Tree Farm will be raffled off. Refreshments will be supplied by Saugus Action Volunteers For the Environment. Tickets are $8.00 each and will be available at the door. The tournament will consist of a High School and Adult Division for both men and women. All participants that register early will receive a free t-shirt.
