Details of our 4^th annual Halloween Ghost Story Contest have been posted. Please note that there have been some clarifications made to the rules, so even if you read them last year, you should look them over again this year.

The local business SaugusHomes has had its web site updated today.

In light of the tragedy today we're publishing the Red Cross phone number for anyone who would like to donate blood -- 1-800-GIVE-LIFE. New York and the District of Columbia are both desperately short on blood and donations are welcomed, but please call the number first; don't just show up at one of the area hospitals.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Founders' Day in Saugus, and much of Saugus Center will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at about quarter past eight in the morning. We'll be holding our annual Founders' Day contest, and as we have done in the past, we'll be posting the trivia questions shortly before Founders' Day starts.
