The parade will start on Hurd Ave. and continue down Central Street through the center and up Summer Street to Stackpole field.

The Saugus Historical Commission Meeting will be at 6:30 PM in the Local History Room of the Saugus Public Library.

All boys in grades 1 through 5 are invited to attend, with their parents. You may join Pack 61, 62, or 66, no matter where you live or what school you attend. If you cannot attend the sign-up, please call the Yankee Clipper Council, Boy Scouts of America, at (978)777-4333 for more information.

Historical Society Board meetings are open to the general public.

The guest speaker will be Curtis White, Park Ranger at the Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site. His topic will be "The Dam, the Making and the Breaking".

The Blessed Sacrament Church will be having a giant yard sale on the driveway of the church.

Come to our newly-painted church for a giant yard sale plus crafts, environmentally-safe products, a plant table, and "Al's" Lemonade Stand.

The First Congregational Church will hold a giant yard sale including toys, furniture, and many household goods.

This annual 4 mile run is open to all amateur athletes and is sanctioned by the USATF/NE. The entry fee is $12.00 through 9/5/03, but $15.00 afterwards. Age grops include U14, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over -- Clydesdale & Filley. Trophies are awarded to first place finishers, and medals are awarded to second and third place finishers. Also, all of the above categories will be duplicated for Saugus Residents. There is an additional category for police or fire department employees, and free T-shirts are given to the first 250 paid, qualified applicants.

The Saugus Housing Authority Meeting will be at 6:00 PM in the Heritage Heights Conference Room.
