    <dc:title>More About the Saugus Gopher</dc:title>
<dc:description>Last week we discussed Gopher in general, and Saugus.net's Gopher Site specifically, and there are those who've since been wondering what's still available via Gopher that's not available via the Web. No one really knows for sure; if you explore Gopherspace you'll probably find things that most people have forgotten; it's been estimated that there are still two to three million Gopher pages out there. We can say that here on Saugus.net we have a Saugus dictionary (similar to our Computer Dictionary) that's accessible via Gopher and dict, but which has never been pulled over to the Web (some day we probably will port it, but it hasn't happened yet). You'll need something like Firefox to use Gopher, and there are also special plug-ins available to make browsing Gopherspace more pleasant.</dc:description>
