Most of the unofficial results of the election have been
tabulated. They're still unofficial because overseas federal
employees etc. are allowed to vote and their votes can take up
to ten days to arrive back and be counted. More details are
listed for the Democratic Party because there were two official
candidates. The Republican Party had only write-in candidates,
one of whom had an organized sticker campaign. Her results are
listed, but keep in mind they are very preliminary as the
write-in votes are all counted manually. She only needed 150 votes
to get onto the final ballot, however, so it looks like she made it.
The results from the relevant wards in Lynn and Lynnfield have not
made it in yet, but it looks as though the three names on the
final ballot will be (listed here alphabetically) Patti Cuddemi
(R), Al DiNardo (I), and Mark Falzone (D).
The "Questions to the
Candidates" section will remain online throughout the election, and
answers will continue to get posted as they are received.
