Most of the unofficial results of the election have been tabulated. They're
still unofficial because overseas federal employees
etc. are allowed to vote and their votes
can take up to ten days to arrive back and be counted.
Voters had a choice of primary ballots from four parties:
Democrat, Republican, Working Families, and Green / Rainbow.
Turnout was poor, and only 2297 people in town voted. Of these,
2043 voted Democrat, 253 voted Republican, 1 voted Working Families,
and no one voted Green / Rainbow. Detailed breakdowns for the
Democratic and Republican parties can be found below; as for the lone
Working Family voter, this creative individual hailed from Precinct 1
and wrote in a candidate for every position on the ballot.
