My grandfather, Samuel Ward Glover, an iron moulder, arrived in Massachussets from Leeds, England in 1862. His home in Saugus was at 1 Alder Street where his descendants have lived for over a century. My husband and I visited Saugus only once but we found a lovely town full of history with hospitable people. We will return as soon as we can.
