This sight is great. I left saugus when i was 12 years old back in 1970. I grew up on water street and went to north saugus school at the intersection of water and walnut streets. Of coarse that school is no longer there. Then i went to vets mem and one year at belfonte. The last time i was back was in 1980. My brother Ken graduated from SHS in 1968. My friend and neighbor Bob Gaudet played goalie for SHS and i believe graduated in 1976. We used to walk across the street and walk over a man made bridge over the saugus river to get to breakheart reservation. It was a great place to grow up. Looking forward to reading more stories.
