I have been a fan of baseball all my life, having played as a kid, managed and coached as a teenager, and spent many, many hours watching as an adult. Never have I seen a game like I saw last Thursday when Saugus beat Texas. Both teams played very well, and with a great deal of heart, but Saugus was just amazing, never giving up, never ceasing to fight, believing that they could and would win. Amazing.

Boynton Beach may have won the US Championship, but in my mind no one will every beat Saugus. Congratulations and best wishes to the entire team, and thanks for a game, and a World Series, that will be remembered forever.
