I lived in Saugus for 20 years graduated in 1963. Had the best time of my life and the best friends that anyone could have. I wish that my kids could have grown up in the same time, haveing no locks on the doors. I had the most known mother in town with all the boys in town. She worked at the town hall where you had to sign up for the draft. I didn't find out till years latter that she would notify guys when they were going to be drafted so they could enlist in a service they wanted. Sadly she past a few years ago. She had lived in Laural Gardens where we use to Ice Skate, when it was Mit Stoukers field before. She had moved from a house on Elmwood Ave that my father built an I grew up in. Thank You Jim Rumson
