I just finished reading "Of Time and the River" which I received for a Christmas present from my wife Sandy. She remembers my reminiscing about John Burns and Bill Regan who were my High School English teachers. I have to say that they stand out as the most memorable educators in my life. I appreciate the gift of writing that they were responsible for. "The River" helped me remember John Burns. I'm also going to get the "Gathering of Memories" after the new year. Oh well, off to soccer for daughter number two.
