of Wilmot, NH writes:
The New England scene is familiar - Town Hall,
Library, Church clustered nearby - a brook spanned by a
narrow bridge marking the end of the street. The
difference is in the location (and population.) Once it
was Saugus Center, Massachusetts - but now it's Wilmot,
New Hampshire. Names in the Chat Line are also familiar
but the graduation dates bring awareness that my memories
are of the parents or grandparents of the writer. CHARLES
COOK (without an 'e') Did you go on to be a professor of
English as my notes beside your yearbook picture
indicate? Is your home in Jonesboro also reminiscent of
Saugus?
