I lived in East Saugus and graduated from Saugus High School in 1941. Married Alice Holbrook in June 1942 right after being sworn into the Army Air Corps. Spent 33 years active duty in the Army Air Corps/Air Force as a fighter pilot. Alice passed away in May 2002. Saugus will always be a fond memory for me... I have both books by John Burns.
