To all Saugonians near and far
Progress report on our proposed new book
about the People of Saugus 1900 - 2000

Our goal is to gather and flesh out a list of Saugonians of these hundred years, including both those who have moved on in this mobile society and those who have stayed here, to leave a record of them and this century for history.

We are looking for a broad spectrum of people: those whose lives were dedicated to service, to their community or to mankind in general; those with careers in the world of letters, art, science, medicine, sports, etc.; those who might be termed ordinary who made lasting impact on their neighborhoods or their town by their deeds, their personalities, their character or even their idiosyncrasies; and families who over an extended period of time by their presence were influential factors in our town.

And let us not overlook the controversial among us who lent spice to these times! Self-nominations are welcome.

We are waiting to hear from you at
