Tomorrow is Halloween, and as we do every year we will be posting the winners from the Halloween Ghost Story Contest live throughout the night.

Our judges are all busily reading the contest Halloween short stories. We will be posting the winners live on Halloween night.

This is just a reminder that we have individually acknowledged all Halloween Ghost Story Contest entries that we have received. If you sent something in and did not hear back from us, it is possible that we did not get your e-mail or that the return address you provided did not work, and you should write to us right away to let us know.

The deadline for our Twentieth Annual Halloween Ghost Story Writing Contest was yesterday, and no more entries will be accepted for this year's contest. We'll be announcing winners live on Halloween night.

We no longer have a shortage of Middle School or High School entries in our Annual Ghost Story Writing Contest, as we got a lot of them in the past 24 hours. We still have a shortage of Elementary School entries, though, so if you know an Elementary School child who enjoys writing, this is a great year to encourage him or her to enter the contest!

We still have a lot fewer school-age entries in our Annual Ghost Story Writing Contest than usual, especially at the Elementary School and Middle School levels. As we mentioned last week, if you know a child who enjoys writing, this is a great year to encourage him or her to enter the contest!

The Saugus Area Entertainment, Recreation, & Sports Resources page was updated today.

We are now in the final week before the Saugus.net Halloween Writing Contest deadline. Entries must be received no later than this coming Sunday.

As we've done on some past Friday the 13^ths, we'd like to take the opportunity to point out the site Antichrist Watch. Do you think you know who the Antichrist is?

The Saugus.net office will be closed today for the holiday. Regularly updated pages will continue to be updated, entries for the Halloween short story writing contest will still be received.

This is just a reminder that this Ghost Story Writing Contest coming up is our 20^th annual one. It's hard to believe we've been doing them this long.
