Saugus User Accounts

We've been considering implementing a system of user accounts here on Saugus.net; if we do so, the same login would allow one to post on various Saugus resources like the Saugus forums and the Saugus Calendar, and possibly even the Saugus blog. What do you think about this? Would regular logins be a good thing or a bad thing for Saugus? Let us know your opinions on the Saugus talk forum.
