Well, is now over one year old and we decided to do something a little different. We're going on an educational road trip to an assortment of Civil War battle fields, and we'll be sending information back nightly so that everyone will be able to see what we do pretty close to when we do and hopefully learn something along with us. Saugus Historical Society Vice President Darren Brown will be providing commentary. The first installment covers Gettysburg and is online now.

In addition to fixing these quirks, over the next couple of days we'll add in a help page for the search facilities and point out some of the new features.

We're working on the search facilities right now; they won't be working properly for a little while.

A handful of past Town Moderators were on-hand to celebrate the occurrence. Several articles were started and tabled; Article 3 covering supplementary appropriations for fiscal 1999 salaries, expense accounts, and surplus revenue (a.k.a. free cash) passed 35 - 8.
