Please join us in wishing lifelong Saugonian Darren Brown and his bride-to-be Stacey Breda all the best as they will be getting married tomorrow. Besides helping us out here behind the scenes from time to time (you may recognize Darren's voice if you've ever called into Saugus.net as he has helped man the phones on more than one occasion) Darren is also known locally as a former Town Meeting Member and the current president of the Saugus Historical Society, and he was the brains behind the Educational Civil War Road Trip.

The Finance Committee observed that it'll be a particularly tough year as the cut in State aid and recent raises to Town employees have combined to make the cost of Town facilities (without additional cuts) around two million dollars more than Town income. Town Meeting will reconvene on May 19th.
