There isn't too much to report on the recent Saugus Special Town Meeting; after the re-election of Bob Long as Town Moderator and some updates from committees, the meeting was adjourned by a 29-16 (4 were absent) vote.

The office will be closed today and tomorrow in observance of the holiday; pages like the Community Events Calendar will continue to be updated, and e-mail will continue to be read, however. Also, the first place adult winner of this year's Halloween Ghost Story Contest, Kevin J. Lopes of Wakefield, has sent us a Thanksgiving story along with the following message:

We will also try to take pictures of the winners with the intent of posting them along with their respective stories; these pictures should hopefully be posted early next week.
