We've now started to post the winners in our thirteenth annual Halloween Ghost Story Contest. We'll be continuing to post them throughout the night, category by category.

Halloween weekend is nearly here and our judges are still reading your Halloween stories. Results will be posted live on Halloween night.

Our judges are now busy reading the Halloween Short Story Contest entries. We'll be posting the winners live Halloween night.

Final copies of all the Halloween stories received have been sent off to the judges. If you didn't get your writing contest entry in yet, it'll be held for 2011.

The deadline for this year's Halloween Ghost Story Writing Contest is tonight at midnight Eastern Time. Any entries received after that time will be held until next year.

The deadline for our thirteenth annual Halloween Ghost Story Contest is tomorrow night just before midnight. If you're planning on entering this year, please get your entries in as soon as possible.

There still are relatively few school-aged entries in for our annual Ghost Story Writing Contest. If you're in school and uncertain about whether or not to enter, this could be your year!

The deadline for this year's Halloween Ghost Story Writing Contest is fast approaching. It's this coming Friday.

When submitting your Halloween story to us, please be sure to include words like "Halloween" or "Scary" or something equally appropriate in the title. We get a lot of e-mail, and relevant subjects make entries easier to find. We don't want to miss yours by mistake!

The Saugus Board of Selectmen is accepting applications for appointment to fill a vacancy on the Affordable Housing Trust Board of Trustees in the Town of Saugus. These are volunteer / non-paid positions for Saugus residents. Those interested may submit letter of interest / resume no later than October 20, 2010 to:

Entries are starting to pour in for this year's annual Ghost Story Contest. Please ensure that when you submit yours, you include whether or not you are competing in the adult category or a student competing in one of the school-age categories.
