We've started to post the winning entries for our 16^th Annual Ghost Story Contest. We'll continue to post them category by category throughout the night.

Our judges are still hard at work reading your Halloween stories. We'll be posting winners tomorrow night.

The deadline for the Ghost Story Contest was yesterday. All entries that we received have been acknowledged. Any additional entries that come in now will be held for next year.

Today is the final day to submit entries for our Sixteenth Annual Halloween Ghost Story Writing Contest. We're still catching up with the flood of last-minute entries we've received in the past couple of days; please look for a response to your submission. We do respond to every person entering to indicate that we've received his or her story.

There is just one day before the deadline to submit your ghost stories for the sixteenth annual Saugus.net Ghost Story Contest. We've gotten bombarded with entries these past few days and are still catching up, so if you've submitted a story and haven't heard anything yet, you should soon.

There is just one weekend left before the Halloween Ghost Story Contest deadline next Tuesday. Get your entries in soon! There have still been very few entries received for either High School or Elementary School categories.

There is less than a week left to submit your entry into our annual Halloween Ghost Story Writing Contest. So far there are very few elementary school or high school entries, so if you're on the fence about entering and fall into one of these two categories, this year may give you better odds than most.

This may seem like an obvious thing to point out, but if you are submitting a PDF to the 2013 Ghost Story Contest, don't lock it, encrypt it, or do anything to restrict its permissions. If we can't read it and copy the text, we can't distribute it to our judges and it can't be in the contest.

The Saugus.net office will be closed today for the holiday. Regularly updated pages will continue to get updated, Halloween contest entries will continue to get processed.

We've opened up the Saugus Guestbook again after having had a couple days of it accidentally having been made private. Sorry about that.

October is here, and Halloween is nigh. If you're planning on entering this year's Halloween Story Writing Contest remember that the deadline is on October 22^nd. Be sure to check out some of the past years' winners to get a feel for the sorts of stories that win.
