Increased Funding Special Election

The unofficial results of the election have been tabulated. They're still unofficial because overseas federal employees etc. are allowed to vote and their votes can take up to ten days to arrive back and be counted.

The executive summary is that it passed, and that it was incredibly close. Not so close that the overseas federal employees are expected to make a difference, but consider that with a population of around 27,000 there were fewer than 5000 votes cast and a difference of fewer than 40 votes between the two sides.
