Apologies to anyone who had difficulty connecting today; apparently the phone company spliced in another company's voice mail system with Saugus.net lines. Things were somewhat confused on both sides for a couple of hours.

There have been minor updates to the TV & Radio page today.

Though we don't usually specifically mention the updates to either one since both get so many, there have been an unusually large number of new entries added to the Events Calendar and the Guestbook recently.

There have been some additions made to the filename extensions list recently.

The Home Pages Page has had some minor updates today.

The Computer Terms Page was further updated today with new information. Additionally, we've improved the search interface to the computer terms and filename extensions pages.

There have been quite a few updates to the Events Calendar recently.

The Saugus.net office will be closed today for the holiday. The regular updates will still be made, however.

The local company Scribner Associates is now officially online. A permanent link to them will be maintained on the Legal & Financial Page.

As mentioned in the Events Calendar, today is personal tax day, so don't forget to file before all the Post Offices close. On a completely different note, there have been numerous minor updates scattered all across the site today. If you haven't checked them out recently, be sure to see the Medical & Dental Info and Yard Sales pages.

Last month we didn't do a survey. Did you miss it? Do you want any more? Are there specific things you want to see in future surveys? Give us your feedback and let us know what sort of surveys you want to see on Saugus.net (if you want to see any at all).

The Debt Exclusion Special Election results were posted a little after nine last night as a special late update. In general, voter turnout was pretty poor -- only a small fraction of the voting public bothered to vote at all (in fact, the last regular election had almost three times as many votes cast as this one did, and its voter turnout wasn't considered good either). On an unrelated note, there have been minor updates to the TV & Radio and Help pages today.

The results of the Debt Exclusion Special Election are in and posted.

Remember that today is the day of the Saugus Debt Exclusion Special Election and polls will be open from noon to 8:00 PM. On a completely different note don't forget that as the weather gets warmer, the yard sales page starts to get active again.

We've added a page covering the upcoming Saugus Debt Exclusion Special Election tomorrow deciding whether or not there will be a temporary twenty year tax increase in town to pay for a new Veterans School.
