Saugus Town Meeting highlights include the unanimous passing of a resolution in support of a bill making it legal to drop off an infant less than one week old at police stations with no questions asked.

The Saugus Council on Aging site was updated today with details on the upcoming computer courses at the Saugus Senior Center.

The final word on the computer courses at the Saugus Senior Center is that the most requested ones will start in the first week of June. We'll post which ones those are as they fill up; right now it looks like there will be a course on interactive fiction and a course on the Internet for seniors, and a course on web page design for non-seniors, but this could change based on demand. Please let us know your interests so we can finalize the schedule.

We've finally gotten word about the computer courses at the Saugus Senior Center. The first of the classes will start in the first week of June. If you're interested in any of the courses, please let us know. The scheduling of each will depend upon interest.

The Newton's Library site has moved from its old home in Sweden to a new one in Saugus (note that it had a lengthy stay in limbo in between). It's a repository of free e-books in the Newton book format.

We're still waiting for the final details about the computer courses at the Saugus Senior Center. Things have been extra slow because of the uncertainty of what hours the center will be able to be open in the coming months. In the meanwhile we've posted some slightly longer course descriptions.
